💡 Ever Wonder How Resort Tax Funds Get Distributed?

Each year, community organizations submit grant applications by October 31 to request Resort Tax funding for projects that benefit Gardiner.

At the November GRAD meeting, representatives from each organization present their proposals to the Board and the public. Then, in December, the GRAD Board reviews all requests and determines which projects will receive funding.

💲 Total Requested: $1,573,680

For comparison, $793,000 was available to award in 2024.

This meeting is open to everyone and is a great opportunity to learn more about each project and how Resort Tax funds support our community.


📣 Reminder for Applicants

Organizations applying for funding are required to attend the November meeting for a Q&A session with the Board.

📅 Next Remittance Due Date is June 1, 2026!

Next year, remittances will be collected from May 1 - October 31 based on the results of the May 2025 special district election ballot.

Two resolutions were on the special district election ballot:

1) extend the resort tax another 20 years

2) extend the tax resort season from June - September to May - October. Both initiatives passed.
