April 2026 GRAD News: Happy Spring & Remittance Collection Begins May 1, 2026

Gardiner Resort Area District

A MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR

Greetings,

It’s that time again—resort tax season is beginning to ramp up for the year. We ask everyone to remember that the season now begins on May 1 and runs through October, so please reprogram your point-of-sale systems accordingly.

It is important for every vendor in the district to update their registration with us so we can communicate effectively. A form is available on the website, along with other useful information and tools.

If you are a property owner in the district, the resort tax is not only directly reducing your property taxes, but it is also helping to fund sewer, water, and emergency services that would otherwise fall on those agencies’ tax bills—or may not happen at all.

Everyone relies on these benefits in our community, so we appreciate everyone's help collecting the tax. We appreciate your efforts and wish you a successful and enjoyable season ahead!

Richard Parks,

Gardiner Resort Area District Chair
